It could not have happened at a better time. Just when I was SO looking forward to the plebeian task of creating a Content base, I come across a thread in a user blog about a free upgrade to Content DataBase 1 by OrcaTools. It sounded "really good." So I finally get the upgrade and fire it up. Retrieve history of purchases from DAZ, Renderosity and Content Paradise. Retrieve Wishlists and followed the instructions on how to import data and what do we have here???
Manually, it would have taken me at least a couple of months to come anywhere near completion. With a few more tweaks here and there it will be done. For any of you out there in 3D Worlds that purchase Content I would strongly recommend that you get it and keep it updated so that you do not find yourself in an extremely awkward position looking, searching and trying to find out what goes with what when it comes to Content.

[link]*** MAKE SURE WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD to also download the scripts which are located at the bottom portion of the WIKI page. These scripts are updated on a regular basis and need to be installed before you try to retrieve data from your Vendors. ALSO if you are using VISTA remember to look for your downloaded XML data in your VIRTUALSTORE directory. ***
It's a trip into Hexagon I suppose. I've been looking around for a pair of very long ski's and bindings similar to that used for Olympic Ski Jumping. Can't find any. So I suppose I'll be making them from scratch. You can almost guess where I'm going with this.
Happy Rendering
